An apron comes from the French word ' napperon ', which means a small tablecloth. An apron is a garmet worn at the front and it have been worn to protect garments. Aprons are often the first garment made by someone learning to sew. They can be simple and tough, or a delicate and attractive fashion accessories. 

When an apron was introduced in Hospitality wear it was a very simple product but today like with all clothes for hospitality wear you can choose them in many different variations like small, tall, with split or without a split, in one single colour or in many colours and even in many different fabrics.
